About

My name is Raven Ramaria. I'm studying Art Education, and majoring in Printmaking. My goal is to teach printmaking in high school or in college. Until then, I can learn more and pass to you my lofty thoughts on why and how we do the thing.

I've been making art in various mediums for forty years, but have only struck on my love of printmaking in the last decade. I work with screen printing, block printing, Intaglio, and monotype. I'd gotten about twenty-five years of experience selling my art, then decided to pivot completely and give my experience away. What is wrong with me?

My experience has taught me that mistakes are mandatory to the creative process. They are also terribly interesting. In this blog I hope to explore our fascinating failings in printmaking, as well as give some guidance on how to get around our own brains.
